Capstone: Week Twenty-Four

This past week was a big one. I started out woking on the tagless neck labels which worked great on the tshirts and long sleeves. Once I got to the sweatshirt materials, I struggled to get it to stick. After many hours, I came up with a work around by sublimating on fabric and sewing the fabric in the back of the sweatshirts. Also, when trying to get the sweatshirts to work, we put some remover solution on the pieces left in the shirt and it bleached it, so we ordered a replacement. My new sweatsuits came in and they look and feel great! I got those printed along with the sweatshirt replacement and they turned out great. I then sewed the tags in and all pieces were complete and looked great!

Later in the week, I prepped for the photoshoot by collecting inspiration images and printed them out. I then cut them out and organized them and glued them to a trifold board. It was helpful to have this for the photoshoot so that I wouldn’t have to scroll through my phone every time to find pose ideas.

Saturday evening, I had my photoshoot. The location was very sunny because I had to do it earlier in the evening than I would’ve preferred. We ended up getting kicked out 15 minutes early too, but then found a secondary location to get a few more shots. I feel pretty good about what I got but I’ll probably have to get a few more shots as well as the detail shots of the clothing pieces alone. I did get some video shots as well.
