Capstone: Week Seventeen

A little late on this one again! Last week we had small group crits with half the class. I showed them the designs I made digital and mocked up on some clothing pieces. The feedback was that it needed to feel more like a collection, and not such separate pieces. I continued working on the designs, bringing in more fonts from the brand, restrained the color palette, and made the illustrations in the same style.

Besides working on these designs, I went ahead on my schedule and started working on social media plans. I made templates on Adobe Spark that could be used for a quick post, as well as made some more specific posts in Illustrator. I started posting on Wednesday and plan to post 3 days a week, starting with sharing the process and story behind the brand, and eventually leading up to promoting the pieces before they come out.
